Drive by update! oO
I know I'm missing two questions from the 19th and the 20th! (Sorry frostydragon and ficwriterjet! This past week has been a whirlwind it feels like! oO I plan to answer them hopefully tomorrow, if not, I apologize in advance!
Tues-Thurs I spent around 3.5 to 4 hours a night working on IP5 (a 2,000 to 3,000 word paper and a 10 slide Powerpoint presentation) (We have been watching Constantine as well, and I REALLY hope the rumors aren't true. Please don't cancel this show! It's been great so far! *pout*)
We decided to celebrate our Christmas at home on Friday since Scott's only day off was Friday, and he would be working up until Wednesday when he's heading out to see his dad for the holidays. (There will be a few pics and vids to share soon! Just not tonight as me tis tired! =D) I didn't work on my homework at all as we spent until around 1AM wrapping all the presents... I totally told myself I was going to wrap them a little at a time, but it always ended up we'd put Nox to bed right around the same time as Lucian, and we didn't want to risk waking him up to drag presents out of the closet... or we were just too damn tired that day (always an excuse right? :P) once we got everything wrapped, we asked Scott if he wanted to just go ahead and do the Christmas bit then and there since it was around 1AM and we figured why the hell not? We let Lucian play with his toys for an after afterward before we all went to bed :P
Sat I had a few household things to square away to get the ball rolling on a nice clean house getting back started on my homework around 12:30 and working on it until almost 8PM... and I STILL wasn't done! I feel sorry for anyone that waited until this weekend to even start it as they are in for a big surprise!
We did play D&D, but I felt so fried, I was kind of in and out of it during game :/ Lucian had a blast playing with his toys and didn't want to go to bed crying Christmas toys! Christmas toys! :P He has been quite happy since Friday still :)
Today, I spent about another four hours on my assignment, and it's finally DONE! *cheers to the heavens!* These classes seem to be getting progressively harder! Oo I got another A- on my last IP :/ Hope that's not the case for my recently submitted assignment (It ended up being 4458 words after covering all the topic points... and the PPT ended up being 14 slides) Wish me luck on a good grade! Either way, I'm just glad I don't have to deal with school until 1/4/2015! I'm SO happy for this break believe me! LOL!
Pippy and family came over, and we gave her her present. Lucian got to play with her for a couple hours while us adults got to talk and went to dinner at Cracker barrel for dinner. I had one hour photo ordered pics for the Christmas cards, so they would be ready to pick up after dinner. Of course, we couldn't get out of Wal-Mart without doing a bit of shopping for a few other needs before we go out of town (namely a couple more outfits for Nox since he keeps running out through the week... Jason needs to wash his clothes more than once a week...)
Tomorrow will be filled with doctor appointments (Dentist at 11AM, gyno at 2:30PM to get them taken care of before the new year, so I don't have to pay the deductible again) and LOTS of baking! I need to go pick up the supplies after the doctor visits and begin the bake-a-thon to make goodies for the Christmas tins I'm bringing to my dad's for Christmas gifts. I spent the past four hours getting all my Christmas cards filled out and ready to go out in the mail first thing in the morning! I feel a lot less stressed now... I really should have gotten them done and out sooner, but I suck! LOL! At least I got them out BEFORE Christmas! *snerk* ;)
We will be heading out to see my dad and family after I go with Scott Tuesday morning to pick up his rental car. (We still need to pack, and I'm going to be so busy tomorrow as well... hell, it's already almost 2AM! oO
I may fall a bit more behind on replies and posts (I know I have quite a few already I need to catch up on... I'm hoping there will be some time to just chill out at the family's once everyone goes to bed and we have a little down time... We plan to head back on Christmas day since my dad has to work the next day, so we'll still have Fri-Sun to do some catching up :P We've been getting all the cleaning and laundry done, so when we get back we can just have a few days to veg after going grocery shopping. Looking forward to that! =D
If I don't get a chance to say it between now and then, I hope everyone has a very merry Christmas! *snuggles you all tight!*
