Is it already Friday?
The past few days have been pretty nice! :) Tomorrow we will be resuming our D&D game without Sean... it doesn't make us feel good, and he admitted his head hasn't been in the game for a couple months now. I'm happy we were able to address the issue without any hard feelings, but it still makes me feel sad we had to cut him off in order to do so.
My Orc character wears a pendant that disguises her true form to look like a Grecian woman. She is also a former slave turned gladiator that wields an executioner ax, so to celebrate the return of D&D, I wanted to share the pic I chose for my character... I did a lot of searching on the internet, so I couldn't even begin to tell you where I got it... I think it was on some D&D message board for art that had women wearing outfits that actually made sense verse the 'scantly clad' ridiculousness that most fantasy art shows. Don't get me wrong, it can be sexy, but I've just grown so weary of seeing it. It just makes an affirmation that women are eye candy and not to be taken as more than a sex object... my tolerance for that kind of art has been growing thin as I get older I suppose.

Wed
1) Did one student discussion board post for school and got my grade back for my last IP. Another A! Yay! =D
2) Nox has gone to sleep without issue for almost a week now, and Lucian pooped in the toilet for the first time ever! Yay Lucian! XD
3) Watched THREE episodes of Gotham back to back! Woot! I'm really liking the story so far, andficwriterjet YES! I am liking this incarnation of the Penguin... I kind of like seeing him get his ass kicked LOL! :P
Thurs:
1) Got all of our grocery shopping done and was back to the house by 7PM
2) Got some emails caught up and the 2nd student DB, so I only got the IP for the week left. I plan to try and get my DB/student responses/IP for week 4 done before we head out on vacation the 30th. I can't wait! XD
3) Watched Person of Interest! Still have this week's episode to watch... have TONS of shows to catch up on actually. I decided to just wait on watching Doctor Who until the season concludes, and I can watch them all at once since the season has got to be close to being at an end... Boardwalk Empire has one more episode to go before the series finale, and I'm holding off to watch the episode on the DVR to finish with a bang on the 29th (the start of my vacation!) I'm scheduled off until the 5th, but I think I might schedule the 6th and 7th off for the rest of the week if I can get away with it :P
Friday!
1) TGIF! I can actually say that and really mean it! =D I found out today that I'm FINALLY off of the 6 day work week schedule! It was starting to really wear me out, so it was kind of nice to be told today that my weekend starts at the end of my shift! :) I was approached my my manager in the morning where she was telling me that she wanted me to come into the office to train fully with Shika as the trailer Locator since I didn't get full training in that area, and my supervisor came to me later that morning with a personal action form (used to sign over to another position) and I expressed I wasn't interested in losing my $1 an hour to do the office stuff... no thanks. I don't mind helping out and learning different positions, but why would I take a step backward to get a $1 less in pay?
2) I tried to do some emails after getting home, feeding Nox, and playing with Lucian for a couple hours, but I was just spent and needed a nap. I got a good 2 hour one and still have plenty of time to fart around on the internet now LOL! I'm not doing any school work today damn it! XD
3) When I got up from my nap, we had a lovely dinner, lobster mac and cheese (a Sam's Club pre-made dish!) Yum! =D I bought and downloaded ABCmouse.com for Lucian and put the app on the tablet. Lucian played with it for two hours and seemingly loved it! =D It's got lots of activities for kids 2 to 6 in a learning curve fashion to practice a lot of different school prep skills to get him more educated with fun games and the such. Hopefully he'll stay interested in it. It has a 30 day free trial before the $60 yearly fee kicks in... Not a bad price as long as he stays interested in it.
Kids both are in bed without issue! Nox has gone to bed every day this week only waking up a couple times to eat and going back to sleep! I think we have finally made it to sleeping mostly through the night! Yay! I can't tell you how HAPPY this makes me! LOL! Okay, I'm off to catch up on emails now! (I'm going to work my way forward as I realize I've got quite a few older posts to answer!
