 So I went up for my interviews on Friday. It was 2 hours of back to back meetings, but it didn't feel anywhere near that honestly. All the interviewers were cordial and seemed like they were pleased with the answers I gave them, but you never know until all is said and done what they think of me. Regardless, I felt like I did well, so that's all I really have at the moment. They did say that they would converge and talk about the applicants to see who they were picking and that if I was chosen that the HR rep would tell my supervisor to release me when he was able =D

 I had my 2nd phone conference today, I was nervous, but not as nervous as the 1st go. The two people I was getting together with I have worked with multiple times in the past, so it made the interview a lot less stressful. They called and one of the first things they said was "We saw your name, and said Jenna's trying to come to corporate! We'd love to pick your brain, and we don't really have any questions for you as we know you're pretty familiar with what we do here, do you have any questions?" *beams* We ended with them telling me that they were going to let Bryan know they spoke to me, and he should follow up with me. If he didn't get back with me by Monday to give him a call. So yeah, I got this job in the bag! Yay! =D This is moving so much faster than I expected it to! I might be in my new job before the end of the month! Oo

The feels! I just got my grade back for my recent project, and my teacher made my day by that last comment he made :)

In other news, how the heck are you guys? I know I haven't been around in forever. All I've been doing is pouring into my writing whenever I am not doing other life stuff like school, work, or hanging with the boys. I can't even remember if I posted pics of them here from the end of March. If not, I'll post soon, so you can see how big they've grown :)

I know I've been MIA lately... It's hard to believe I haven't posted since August! Life has been kind of crazy, and between work, school, every day life, and the holidays, I just haven't really been online much outside of doing homework for the cost accounting class that I am so glad to be finished with! I think it was the hardest class I've had (mostly because the teacher was such a tool) I had to teach myself the course, but I still managed to eek by an A thankfully! I'm just relieved it's over now, and I get a little break from all things school until the 3rd.

Good news I hadn't mentioned yet; the manager that was making my life hell was pushed to leave on a good note (over getting fired for incompetence and laziness), and I had been given my old position back. I had applied for the inventory control clerk position two weeks after that and was told in the middle of November that I got it! Things have been a lot better in my department as I train my replacement. I could have stayed, but honestly, I'm tired of the way they use me for what ever function they want and cut my hours to give them a better CPH (cartons per man hour) The inventory position guarantees 40 hours a week, it's a step in the further progression of my knowledge that will help me in my career, and it relieves me of being the department's door mat. I should be starting my new position sometime in the next couple weeks! :)

I'm excited to see their reaction this year for Christmas. They've wanted to watch the Elf on a Shelf movie practically everyday since 'Jack' (Lucian named his elf last Christmas) appeared about two weeks ago :P The past ten days he's diligently been marking off on the calendar how many days until Santa comes. Too dang adorable :)

I'm going to do my best to be better about getting online more often to keep up with my friends here. I hope everyone is doing well and that your holidays are made of win!

I know it's been forever since I've updated, and I'm sorry for that. I've been a bit down lately, and life has been crazy for me between school and work. Thankfully I just finished my last assignment for this class, and my next class doesn't start until this coming Sunday, so I get a few days of peace to do what I want to do. (Other than playing Elder Scrolls Online... ha ha yeah, I've been enjoying a bit of PS4 which has me REALLY behind on my emails *blush*)

As you guys know, I didn't get that position I'd wanted, but the girl that got it did deserve it, so I'm happy for her. She was the person who lefts backup, so completely understandable. Also, as a plus, the DC manager told me that I'd impressed him. He had said he was impressed before, but after speaking to me even more so (which made me feel really good especially since he told me he didn't tell everyone that.) I was fine enough continuing on as I was. And then, this...

Wow! I have been suffering from severe sun poisoning! Oo I went to a tanning bed on Thursday to try and get a base tan before the cruise to not burn... and the chick didn't tell me that going in for 20 minutes was a bad idea for a first timer... and it's not like she didn't know it was my first time because we chatted for about 5 minutes about different lotions and what I should use for my first time *fumes*

I was severely pissed off to say the least. I talked to the manager/owner today after I got out of work, and she apologized offering my money back/or a free month and some free lotion to use (which is awesome by the way!) Sooo much better than the Vaseline intensive care with aloe I got LOL! I had to work today, but took Monday off to give me a little time to recover since I can barely walk I'm in so much pain *pout*

Sorry I haven't been around lately. I have been meaning to make a post but just haven't 'felt' up to it. Life isn't bad or anything, but I've been a bit down lately. Not really sure why, maybe because work has been really rough lately... it is what it is.

So this is a particularly short weekend, although I can't complain from the long weekend I had prior to this one :P (the reason I had a long weekend, so I could cover for the weekend shift PR clerk.) It was CRAZY today *wipes brow* I was really happy to get the hell out of there and start my weekend. Started class Sunday, and it's been challenging but not fretfully so. I still have to do my main assignment tomorrow *groans* Cross your fingers for me that it doesn't take my whole day off! Oo

Scott bought steaks to grill on his new grill, so we got to partake in the awesome! I got a nice and well needed nap and feel much more energetic than I did a few hours ago. Sleep has been disturbed with everyone being sick, but it seems we are on the whole finally on the mend thankfully.

Been writing away with two co-written fics AND under the cut is the next chapter from Jason! *squee!* I attacked him with surprise sex after being so pent up writing fic that he felt 'inspired!' LOL! XD

Welp, I'm going to answer a few emails, get a shower, and go watch me some Black Sails! Yay! =D I missed this show!

So I got my last tax form from my school and filed my taxes, and I will be getting the biggest tax return ever! *squee!* I plan to get mostly out of debt with it and have a nice nest egg to get us through until next tax return :) Went out for sushi with friends Friday night to celebrate, and I got my homework assignments done for the the week, so Sunday is all mine! XD Great start to the weekend!

TGIF! Man I'm glad it's finally Friday! It's been an exhausting week, and I'm only getting Sat off before having to go back in to work Sunday. The paychecks are great, but I'm feeling a bit drained going in to week four of 50+ hour work weeks with one day off and poor sleep since Nox has been rather restless all week allowing for very little sleep... averaging around 2 hours a night... I was excited about the prospect of getting a massage at Virginia College Sat afternoon, but while I was at work, I got a message saying they were closing the clinic tomorrow, so no massage for me... *sigh* Just venting a little sorry. I feel better now ;)

We did go out to Outback tonight as Scott wanted to treat Jason to dinner for his birthday and getting together last weekend wasn't happening. Dinner was excellent too! cat2000 and I have been writing a couple responses a day and have finished the latest chapter of our Gotham fic... there WILL be spanking in this chapter! LOL! It'll be below the cut ;)
