I know I've been MIA lately... It's hard to believe I haven't posted since August! Life has been kind of crazy, and between work, school, every day life, and the holidays, I just haven't really been online much outside of doing homework for the cost accounting class that I am so glad to be finished with! I think it was the hardest class I've had (mostly because the teacher was such a tool) I had to teach myself the course, but I still managed to eek by an A thankfully! I'm just relieved it's over now, and I get a little break from all things school until the 3rd.

Good news I hadn't mentioned yet; the manager that was making my life hell was pushed to leave on a good note (over getting fired for incompetence and laziness), and I had been given my old position back. I had applied for the inventory control clerk position two weeks after that and was told in the middle of November that I got it! Things have been a lot better in my department as I train my replacement. I could have stayed, but honestly, I'm tired of the way they use me for what ever function they want and cut my hours to give them a better CPH (cartons per man hour) The inventory position guarantees 40 hours a week, it's a step in the further progression of my knowledge that will help me in my career, and it relieves me of being the department's door mat. I should be starting my new position sometime in the next couple weeks! :)

I'm excited to see their reaction this year for Christmas. They've wanted to watch the Elf on a Shelf movie practically everyday since 'Jack' (Lucian named his elf last Christmas) appeared about two weeks ago :P The past ten days he's diligently been marking off on the calendar how many days until Santa comes. Too dang adorable :)

I'm going to do my best to be better about getting online more often to keep up with my friends here. I hope everyone is doing well and that your holidays are made of win!

The vacation was a blast for the most part. We had one snag with Jason's step-mom (which was REALLY bad Oo), but other than that, we had a great time on the cruise and visiting with friends although I wish I'd gotten a few more pics of friends while we were there. Oh well.

Sorry I haven't been around lately. I have been meaning to make a post but just haven't 'felt' up to it. Life isn't bad or anything, but I've been a bit down lately. Not really sure why, maybe because work has been really rough lately... it is what it is.

I'm seriously glad to be home! I still have a few days left before I have to go back to work, and me and the family are relaxing.

So the smoky mountains... we left out a couple hours later than we'd wanted, but since the DVR had started deleting episodes, so we wanted to get some TV watching in before we left town to make sure we didn't lose anymore, so we didn't get to bed until around 2AM :P We did get the first four episodes of Doctor Who watched which was fun.

So, I needed a pic me up from the hell life has been throwing at me, and Nox complied by giving us a first time laugh! =D I of course rushed to get the camera as all doting parents are prone to do. I have a couple super cute brother pics of Lucian and Nox to share as well, Lucian loves his little brother so :)

Is it seriously a week until Christmas? Where did this year go! I have been reminded that I haven't updated much real life stuff... most of this was due to taking pics with my new phone. Transferring them took every file and was a pain in the butt sifting through the 6 different sizes so I didn't post gargantuan pics or one of the many thumbnail pics. I feel good that I went through them now and can share them with you :)

So I finished my last assignment for my marketing class! Yay! I've gotten A's on all but two papers and the other two were A-'s One left to be graded, and as long as I don't do horribly on it, I should keep my 4.0! =D

Got a video of Lucian dancing at the end credits of WIR... I think he loves that movie more than me! LOL! Also, I took pics of my new Yiynova MSP19U and my goodie box gift all the way from England! Thanks again Daniel! *snuggles you tight*
