A quick daily positive boost for Wed and Thurs, and then it's meme time! =D

Wed:

1) Had a good productive day at work and got an hour nap when I got home.

2) Lucian was eager to play with his 'kitty' and we hung out on the couch with Nox while he showed Nox how to play LOL! Nox bounced around quite delighted to watch Lucian get his virtual cat to fall over :P I loves me babies ;)

We didn't have game last night because Sean decided to call 2 minutes after game was supposed to start to tell us Jerrod (his son) had something he needed to do that night, so they both couldn't play... this has happened on several other occasions, so Jason and I are making a firm stance to stop playing with him. There's only so much a person can forgive before you just have to take a bow...

3) That said, not playing D&D gave me a chance to catch up a bit on emails and watch the latest Once Upon a Time! =D This episode was better than the last two (even if the writers somehow feel like they need to try and use every scene from the frozen movie they possibly can work in *eye roll*) Oh Rumple, what are you up to you naughty imp? ;) And for my spanko friends, can we see Emma spanking Hook for not going back to the sheriff's station like she told him? *evil grin*

Thurs:

1) Got a cheeseburger plate for the charity drive and it was delish! =D

2) Tomorrow is ESS (inventory where all pallets must be put in the warehouse racks, all paperwork closed out, etc. for the warehouse) Shannon and I worked out asses off today, and we got our floor sparkling (as much as a concrete floor can sparkle any way ;) We should have a pretty short day tomorrow because of it, and I'm ALREADY on overtime, so anything I work tomorrow and Sat will be time and a half! Woot! =D

3) I came home, got my student responses done for my discussion board, and because it's pay day, we decided to go out to eat. SUSHI! It's been ages since we ate sushi since it's just too dang expensive! I've been working all this overtime though, so I thought it was okay to have a little treat :) Now we are just relaxing and both kids are in bed! Nox is starting to sleep! OMG! *squee!* After I finish this post, I'm going to catch up on a few emails and off to bed! ;)

Every day your breathing is a good day...

It's been a rough day, but taking a moment to ponder the positive gives me a little zen.

1) Decided Friday was going to be a shredded chicken taco pot luck with a few co-workers! It'll be nice to get social as the fact I'm breast feeding means all of my breaks are usually spent alone holed up in a back office, so I can pump milk for Mr. Nox (which he fully appreciates :P)

2) Technically this was a plus for yesterday, but when we sat down to watch shows last night I saw two awesome things, #1 Boardwalk Empire is back! *squee!* (or it's a special before the premier, but still, I've been looking forward to it since last season as I've always had a particular love for gangsters) and #2 The season finale of The Leftovers was ready for us to watch! =D (I'd thought maybe the last episode we saw was the finale because there was no show last Sunday, so it was a pleasant surprise to see another episode to conclude the season a bit better... not to say there aren't still a million questions, but I kind of expect that from the writers that also worked on LOST. Hopefully they will tie this show up better than they did that one since it's on a premium channel.

3) Lucian was atrocious last night, so much so that he ended up brushing his teeth and going straight to bed once we got home from dinner last night. Today he was pretty well behaved getting to go swimming (while I took a 45 minute nap! YAY!) Then we went grocery shopping at Wal-Mart and Sams where we also got a slice of pizza because shopping ran pretty late. Because he was a good boy though, we watched the potty video (with so many horrible potty puns! LOL!) He was excited to see his big boy underwear, and we let him wear a pair over his diaper the one time tonight to hopefully keep him excited about using the potty.

P.S. (to ficwriterjet I saw they had Veronica Mars the movie on one of the premium channels, so I set it to record; it's on my DVR now for later viewing. I look forward to chatting with you about it when I do! =D

Positive meme day 2!

1)Saturdays are pretty laid back, so working a 10hr shift isn't so bad. It is the last day of work before getting a day off which always brings an air of relaxation to know I don't have to work the next day! (Not to mention all day was overtime! Woot! =D)

2)Kids have had a bit of a head cold the past couple days, and they seem to be on the point of moving to feeling better rather than worse which is always a relief. Also, Nox went to bed at 8:30! (That's a record, and with it being D&D night an extra plus!)

3)It was D&D night! We got to start Jason's new campaign, and I won't bore those who don't know anything about or care about playing D&D the details, but it was a lot of fun! The players were really involved this game, and there were a lot of points where we got to develop our characters. I look forward to the next game! (as always :P)
