Jan. 29th, 2015 06:05 pmI haven't updated in a while, but I and the fam have been well :) Lucian is almost fully potty trained! *squee!* He still has accidents every now and then in the mornings, but has been going without prompting these past few weeks, so I'm super proud of him :) He's got Fox, Cat, Dog, Nox, Mom, Dad, Egg, and Pig down pat. We went to see an arthritis doctor about Jason's hands and feet swelling (he's been coping with this since around 2008, we got him some meds to try out and see if they help) but while we were in the waiting room, Lucian impressed me and the people he was interacting with by phonetically spelling out 'triangle!' (I'm such a proud mommy!) Nox has been pulling up on everything and using it to move about, I see him walking any time now! He's also wearing 12 to 18 month clothes! Getting so big! XD
I've been coming home from work a couple hours early this week ...from feast to famine I swear!... Can't wait till the college gives me my tax info! They wait until the 31st *sigh* and I'm feeling impatient :P

Lucian spells his first word! =D

1) The highlight of my day! Lucian was able to spell the word fox! =D
2) I didn't get out of work early, but we got out of there around 4:30, so not too bad. Our manager congratulated us on a job well done getting inventory squared away (which was a miracle considering this particular shift had all the new checkers where more than half of them don't give a damn about whether they do a good job and three fourths of them it's a miracle they still have a job because they make so many mistakes... I nicknamed them the Spongebob crew :P) The dock was spic and span, and it always feels good to know all the issues drifting about have been resolved, and when I go in tomorrow, it's a fresh clean sheet. =D
3) Watched Person of Interest! I love that show, and in my opinion, it's just gotten better every season (which for a lot of shows it's just the opposite. The machine found a way to help fund the crew and Fusco got to shine! Yay Fusco! XD I have a lot of love for Fusco, and I like episodes that give him his due ;)

Sep. 15th, 2014 11:04 pmI was going on a pretty good clip with my positive posts, but Thursday was just absolutely horrid, and I was pressed to see the positive. Thinking back though, I got to sit down and read a couple books with Lucian where Nox was equally interested.
Spending time with the kids is always a plus. I honestly can't even remember anything more about that day other than it was draining. The days that followed were not bad but super hectic, so I just didn't have time to reflect and post. So, I'll do a brief catch up here as well as share a couple pics of the cat family (since I haven't shared pics of them in forever andashmedai had wanted to see a pic of Kit-Kat (the female tabby that I've been told is a rarity :D)

The positiveness continues!
Sep. 10th, 2014 08:00 pm...Brought to you by the letter P and the number 6! XD Can you tell I live with a toddler? LOL!
1) I was exhausted this morning... Nox was tossing and turning and my nose was chafed from blowing it all night last night. I was dreading work with only 2.5 hours of sleep, but the day actually went really smoothly. I didn't really feel like I was going to fall out like some days, and I think a lot of that was because I stayed pretty busy. My boss complimented Shannon and I for doing a great job right before I left which always makes me feel good. (I've also consecutively gotten at least an hour over 8hrs every day (since they have Shannon and I working six days but only really want us putting in 8hrs, I'm really looking forward to that pay check next week! Woot! =D)
2) Came home to the family and actually got in the pool with Lucian (verse watching from outside the pool... which is half the time :P) Of course we played with his new toy fish, and we also played catch with his water football when he wasn't demanding I piggyback him around the pool LOL! He made me get my exercise for sure! Jason made us a really nice meal of baked well seasoned tilapia and french cut green beans while Nox and I relaxed on the bed to breast feed after Lucian and I got our showers and played the daily color game (I have a ceramic fox cookie jar I picked up from Cracker Barrel (if you don't know, I absolutely ADORE foxes!) it hold a bunch of M&M's, and it's a 'game' Lucian wants to play every time he is brought to the bathroom to point at it and yell" FOX!" of course! :P
3) I made today my kick back and relax day after finishing my student responses for the discussion board. I've been dying to catch up on my emails, and the first thing I did was read the next chapter to a wonderful storyficwriterjet has been writing for me! She is amazingly good to me! *snuggles her tight!* It's a Once Upon a Time fic based off a plot bunny I had, and she has turned it into so much more! The photographer did an excellent job, and both kids were in a good mood making for great pictures :P (You have to check them out by 5/1/14 before they get taken down) We ordered the digital copy for $135, so expect to see them again without the logo as soon as the CD arrives! :) They sent them via email! So I can share them now! YAY! =D

May. 13th, 2013 08:32 pmSo I finished my last assignment for my marketing class! Yay! I've gotten A's on all but two papers and the other two were A-'s One left to be graded, and as long as I don't do horribly on it, I should keep my 4.0! =D
Got a video of Lucian dancing at the end credits of WIR... I think he loves that movie more than me! LOL! Also, I took pics of my new Yiynova MSP19U and my goodie box gift all the way from England! Thanks again Daniel! *snuggles you tight*

Apr. 7th, 2013 11:31 amIt's Lucian's 2nd birthday today! Yay! He's down for a nap at the moment, but when he gets up, we are heading to Chucky Cheese to spend the afternoon with his buddy Pippy :) There will be pics to share later for sure ;)
Also, I'm done! This was the final bit to finish this class off! Wahoo! =D This was supposed to pick a passage from a book/story and capture a moment to describe it. Out of the three, this one seemed the most fun. I added the text to the bottom of the picture, but I'm not sure how readable it'll be, so here it is again below ;)

Nov. 29th, 2012 05:30 pmI decided to use a commission as my freebie picture for my final. That's what you call a two-fer! XD Cha-ching! LOL!
I may end up doing something else to submit since the pictures were so small it was hard to get a good eye on details we will see how busy I am when it comes down to when I have to have this submitted by. My management course will be taking up enough time as well as a creative exchange spank pic I'm doing! *snerk* ;)
In other news, Jason and Lucian are down visiting Jason's dad in FL. Scott was going to visit his folks out there, so it was a great opportunity for them to do the same. I'm in an empty house! 0o I'm glad I've got plans to go visit my good spanko friend, Donny (AKAdevilspaperboy!) We've got plans to dine at his fave Mexican restaurant as well as attending his work's Christmas party! So yeah, I'm pretty excited to get away as well.
