spankingfemmeThe title is dedicated to a lovely chat about H.P. Lovecraft earlier today, so now the quote was running rampant in my head because it is one that always intrigued me. Cthulhu is coming! Look busy! :P
So I've got a bit to catch up on!
Mon: (I'm having trouble remembering back to Monday honestly LOL! My brain kind of deletes short term memory too quickly 0o)
1) On hype from a few friends here, we checked out the first two episodes of Forever (still one behind) but thought the show was pretty fun.
2) Caught up on Agents of Shield as well (I've been doing my best to knock out some TV before I go back to school on Sunday!)
3) Not a positive really outside of me getting a day at home; Jason was feeling ill when I spoke to him at first break, and by the time I got home, he had a full blown stomach flu. Poor guy was miserable, so I called my job and asked if I could VTO for Tuesday, to let him rest while I took care of the kids.
Tues:
1) I got to sleep in! That is always a blessing! XD
2) I got 2 loads of laundry done, changed out the sheets for us and the kids, made lunches for the next two days, so Jason wouldn't have to worry about them. Got to spend a few hours outside with Lucian and Nox enjoying the beautiful fall weather before it gets chilly.
3) Got to bed at a decent hour (midnight... which is a hell of a lot better than Nox has been letting us the little night owl!)
Wed:
1) I was thrown in to the receiving clerk position and was asked to 'try' to do PR at the same time, it was a nightmare, but thankfully I only had to do it for an hour and a half before Shannon showed up. Everything went as smoothly as it could for one person doing two people's job, so I'm pleased about that. Afterward I got to run around the dock researching stray pallets which is kind of fun to me as they are little unsolved mysteries I get to figure out where they came from and how to get them off the dock :P
2) At the end of the day I had a horrible headache, so bad that on the drive home I needed to pull over and toss my cookies. Jason helped me into bed to get rid of it waking me 2 hours later. Headache wasn't fully gone, but much better with rest as most things are.
3) Watched South Park! LOL! This show is my guilty pleasure ;) I love that they keep up with current events even if they are totally crass :P
Thurs:
1) I woke up still with a headache and my stomach was acting up. I must have looked really sick because everyone was asking me if I was okay. I came back from first break to have my supervisor tell me I could go (I had asked him if he planned to VTO anyone to please let it be me, so I'm thankful he did)
2) I had paid $7 for a taco salad for Toya's charity, and Charlie bought it for me. I'm glad, one of the few things I hate is wasted food... and even though I didn't eat it, I'll still get my money back later. Win for me and win for charity! XD
3) I got home a little after 10AM and crawled in to bed. I stayed in bed until 6:30PM, and I think the rest helped me not get as bad off as poor Jason thankfully. My stomach is still a bit touchy, but otherwise golden :)
Fri:
1) Had the day off scheduled for a lovely dentist visit, so again got to sleep in!
2) Dentist visit wasn't too bad. Lucian was surprisingly well behaved as was Nox for being cooped up in the dentist's office while both Jason and I had our visits. My teeth are great, my gums suck! They haven't gotten worse, but I've got an appointment to come back on the 20th to discuss gum surgery for a back tooth. Boo!
3) Took Lucian out to play at the BK up the street from the dentist after we did a quick grocery shopping trip. Scott called us to tell us his car was getting towed to Midas because it failed to start. I dropped the kids and Jason off with the groceries and headed to Midas. Luckily it was only the battery dying over any real car issue! We got to hang out and talk for an hour while we waited on the mechanics to do an assessment. Scott and I rarely get to hang out like we used to, so these little moments are nice (if even under bad circumstances)
I'm going to try and catch up with more emails as both kids are actually in bed! School starts back up again on Sunday, so I'm trying to take advantage of any free time I currently have! I hope everyone out there is doing well! Miles of smiles! *Blows kisses!* XD
