Turbo in living color and a neat LJ meme

spankingfemmeI'm officially on my 4 day long weekend vacation! I've got a paper to write for class due on Monday, but other than that, only fun stuff scheduled! Oh, and that assignment that I got an F on with that one teacher, I got a 96 on with this one! =D
Tonight is D&D night! Woot! And tomorrow we are driving out to Donny's house (AKAdevilspaperboy for his birthday! =D I got him the Wreck-It-Ralph collector's addition (we went to see it together the last time I went over for a visit =D) So yay! WIR fellowship love! LOL! I've been DYING to see the specials on it! *squeal!* I'm also going to attempt to draw him his spanking pic that I've owed him FOREVER... since his last birthday... yay, I suck! o0 I owe a couple folks out there art I know, I'm trying guys I promise! Lately Doodles of Daleks and Turbo during work breaks outside of school related art has been all I've been able to creatively muster. I have one more art piece to do for my final, and my art obligation to that school will be finished, and I can get to work on more fun stuff for you guys. ;)
Speaking of Turbo... Here's my colored version... I'm not overly happy with because I had to color it using my touchpad mouse :( My Wacom is acting all crazy not letting me have any control of the pen. I'm going to use a friend's suggestion and contact the company to see if they can help me get it to work again...

How did you come to start your LJ?
I actually started it mostly as a story archive believe it or not! I'd had my computer crash on me and lost a lot of my work, so hearing that this place you could post both, art and fics was very cool for a person who liked to do both.
How did you find your first friends?
I don't really remember honestly! LOL! Probably from searching out fic and chatting with the authors! XD The friends I made here were always the most honest and accepting from any social network I think.
Are those first friends still on your FL?
Just the ones I introduced originally LOL! ;) I think I grew a lot and so have the people I met along the way. Through those, the ones that stood out have remained true friends to this day and adding a few here and there but very picky on who I add ;)
How long have you been on LJ?

Do you have more friends or communities on your FL?
Friends! Honestly, there is only one community I even visit now and that's just because a friend guided me there! :P
Do you do a lot of friends cuts?
I wouldn't say a LOT, but yes, on occasion I've gone through and dropped people who I didn't see as having a mutual interest in me as I had in them. Too many good people to waste reading about a person who doesn't want to also invest in me. Maybe a bit selfish, but friendship is a two way street ;) Speaking of, now would be a great time to dwindle down that list again... it's been a while :P Obviously, if you are reading this post right now, you have no reason to fear being cut LOL! :P
What do you like in an LJ friend?
Someone who comments on my LJ and responds when I comment on theirs. Someone who's open minded and shares some interests with me.
What do you dislike in an LJ friend?
People who only seem to be one-sided friends, they love you when you are responding to their journals, but never visit yours. I don't expect my friends to be interested in everything I am, but pop in every now and then and let me know you at least want to know about what's going on in my life to. People who whine and complain all the time with what seems like never ending misery. We all get bumps in the road, friends are there to help you get through that, but damn, there has to be some sunshine in that dark gloom right? LOL!
What would make you un-friend someone immediately?
Disrespect to me or any of my other friends on my FList. Other than that, something highly abhorrent to my personal beliefs... which would be incredibly rare ;)
Have you been caught up in a lot of LJ drama?
Naw, I avoid drama like the plague! LOL!
Do real-life friends and family members know you have a journal on LJ?
One and the same. I don't see a difference between a friend in person and a friend over the internet, in fact, I have a deeper connection to quite a few people online that I never had with a 'real-life' person since the anonymity helps to talk about stuff I'd be too embarrassed to just start talking about to most people :P But, I've gotten to an age where I don't give that much of a damn who knows what I like anymore! LOL! As for family, yes, my dad and step-mom read my journal (more for the Lucian bits LOL!)
Do you also have Facebook and if so, what do you prefer – LJ or FB?
Gah *scowl* I do have a FB for my family's sake and a few friends that I keep in touch with on the rare occasion I go on it. Honestly, its user interface annoys the crap out of me! If it weren't for family, I'd so have deleted that thing as I really dislike it for the most part! LOL!
What about Twitter?
I supposedly do? I set one up a few years ago, but I was never able to really do anything with it, and I lost interest in trying to figure it out in favor of other things.
Do you blog on any other sites?
Just cross-post from DW and I have a fetlife account but I don't really use that one much... mainly just answer other people's messages. My only other main site would be DA for my art side and fanfiction for my writing side. ;)
How often do you check in on LJ?
Never. I only come here through emails of friends posting or commenting (which would be daily in that regard) But I never just browse LJ. I come, I post, and I dip! XD
What do you rarely or never post about?
Hmm... Mundane boring crap like you see on FB The "Eating a sandwich at Subway" kind of posts. Who gives a flip where and what the hell I'm eating? 0o Most depressive or angry moments. I do on occasion, but for the most part, I keep the lion's share of that to myself since I wouldn't want to hear it constantly, so I figure no one else wants to read it! ;)

Have you ever thought about deleting your journal?
A long time ago when I'd pretty much stooped coming here or posting here. That was in my transition period before I actually started using it for more than just an archive ;)

No. Why would I do that, my username is my trademark ;)
Why did you choose your current username?
It was supposed to be spankingfemfatale, which is my username most places, but LJ wouldn't accept that many letters LOL! So I had to shorten it a bit ;)
If you're looking for new friends, how do you find them?
I'm not usually actively looking for new friends, but when I spot someone on another friends LJ that tends to be of the same mind, I will reach out and chat with them. I don't really want many new friends, it's hard enough to keep up with the ones I have! LOL!
Are you taking new people on to your Friends List just now?
Yes! I actually just obtained two newer friends not too long ago!judaskiss and a_phoenixdragon!
Finally, tell us the reasons why you keep an online journal.
Um... to share interests, art, writing with folks that want to do the same? To be myself utterly, and enjoy my friends in the same fashion. In the great words of Vanellope, "Ah Doi!" LOL! ;)
