Yay! So, I finished my class and have a break until April 6th! I'm almost clicking my heels over here LOL!

I did pass this class keeping up with my 4.0! Woot!

Three weeks and two days left before little Nox Liam comes into the world :) I have to be at the hospital at 5:30AM and the C-section will take place at 7:45. I've been trying to work out all my finances, so I can afford to stay home for the full 12 weeks to spend time with the baby/family. It's been stressing me out because I just don't know if I'm going to be able to do it.

I used my tax return/savings to pay off rent for the next three months, paid off my car insurance until July, paid $100 a month towards utilities to bring down the overall bills, covered my car payment with two skip a payments and one full payment, and have about $800 left currently with 3 weeks left to earn and save. As well as submitting an essay for a $500 grant *cross your fingers that they like it enough to award it to me :P*

I took the stipend cap off my student loans for the time I'm off to gain the excess funds I can get from my loans verse getting returned in hopes there will be enough to help us make it to Florida for Jason's family to be able to see the baby as well as get to see good friends we didn't have the chance to when we last visited with very limited time.

I should get my twice a year tuition reimbursement from my job hopefully before I go on leave for 2 grand which from what I found out about my insurance I will have to use $1,572 of it to continue paying my $131 weekly or they will cancel my insurance without just being able to make partial payments... I was going to try and use some of my paid time to cover the insurance payment, but unless it can be the entire amount after taxes, the corporate contact told me, I would only end up getting the money usurped in an automatic payment, but I would still need to pay the monthly payment booklet to which I would then get 'refunded' for after I return to work... which isn't when I need the money. So very lame. Needless to say I'm just going to save most of my paid time off using two weeks of it right before I return to knock back the extra money taken out and 'refunded' until I'm going back to work and will have my income steady again. :/

I try not to worry so much, but I'm naturally a worrywart especially when it comes to money and making sure I can take care of my family. I will still have to make allowances for cable, gas, food etc while I'm out, and I'm praying that the unknown amount from my loans stipend won't only be a couple hundred dollars and instead will be enough to put my mind at ease.

On a fun note, I've been totally loving the new show, Black Sails! It's a great show aired on Starz about the age of pirates with a few mentions of actual pirates from back in those days, and I loves it! In particular Anne Bonny and Jack Rackham's little relationship *evil grin* Anne is definitely on top in their duo, which is always fun especially concerning the world of pirates and historically her being a bad ass :P

A nice little video I saw for them here:

Yarg :P
