Three deep! XD

spankingfemmeIf you're wondering about the title, no not referring to the nasty urban definition, although I am feeling quite euphoric! LOL! I got to watch three shows today! (which is a record for me :P) So I'm living three deep in fandom love LOL! (And I just thought it was fun to make those of you that saw the title wonder what the hell I was talking about *snerk* I'm a jerk, I know ;)
Positive Thinking!
Fri:
1) Toya's mom made ribs for the Friday charity plate, and it was quite tasty!
2) Got a much needed nap which helped since Nox didn't want to sleep (again!) Naming him with the name that means: midnight may have backfired on us! 0o
3) Went out to dinner with Scott (He has Friday and Sat off, and works nights now, so Friday night is usually the one night we get to hang out and catch up)
Sat:
1) Work is usually lax on Sat. but not this Sat as the supervisor that used to cover the shift's last day was Thursday. She had to move back to Ohio to be with her daughter since the cross country custody wasn't working out for her. Good for her, family is way more important! It usually drags, but being busy like it was kept the day rolling by quickly, and it was over before I knew it.
2) Read a few books with Lucian, and both kids were in bed without a fuss by 9PM! Nox woke up again an hour later, but he was cheerful and happy throughout game which is always nice when fighting monsters with rolled dice ;)
3) D&D night! Our party is an amalgam of me, an identity-crisis orc fighter (that hates orcs... long story LOL!) a water Genasi sorceress, a pixie psion, and a necromancer (who was a cleric giant until he was killed two games ago LOL!) in a world where humans are prevalent and mystical creatures not so much. It makes interacting with the world... interesting *snerk*
Sun:
1) Day off! Woot! Not much can make a day better than that right? LOL! Nox didn't sleep until 2AM, but we slept in until 10:30! I always feel like such a lazy shit being in bed that late, but man, sleep is just SO precious! (Not to mention having the chance to get a bit of quick nook before Lucian got bored of playing in his room and let us know he was ready to come out :P)
2) Got some good exercise in by jumping in the trampoline with Lucian (I also now officially feel old :P) We headed to the industrial park up the road where they have a nice lake with a sidewalk perfect for walking with the stroller, and the weather was perfect for walking! Overcast with a slight breeze :)
3) Three deep! LOL! Slight, very 'vague' *spoilers* for Hell on Wheels, Once Upon a Time, and Boardwalk Empire
Started the night off with the season premier of Once Upon a Time. I used to love this show, and don't get me wrong, I still like it, it's just not as good as it used to be. I do adore my Belle/Rumple bits though. I really hope Regina doesn't become a villain again as I like her and don't want to see her go backwards... Emma! Chick, you've got lovely Hook at your beckon call (man-scara and all *bats eyes*) and you keep avoiding him. You need to tap that post haste... *evil grin* or spank that LOL! (my taste, don't judge! XD)
Next in the line up was Hell on Wheels where we got a showdown on a train with fun prison break scene. I love how most of this show has very believable ways they enact a 1890's Western style adventure on the railroad. This show has never disappointed me in wit and style... funny as I rarely like the 'typical' Westerns as they always seemed a tad cheesy. :)
To finish off, Boardwalk Empire! Oh man! It's getting thick! I liked seeing Nucky and Margret sharing space together, I always liked them together and thought if anyone could have straightened Nucky out, it would have been her. I'm interested to see how she approaches Rothestien's wife to handle the pickle she's gotten herself in. Oh man! I thought Alden "Muler" was going to bite the dust tonight with Capone's crazy ass! That guy... he's such an off-the-wall dickhead. Out of all the gangsters in the show, he's the most unpredictable and definitely the scariest! 0o
